I am due this December and I’ve been dreading the fact I may have to purchase a new car, and I was trying to avoid this! I researched so many different car seats to find the right fit for my 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander. These were perfect fit. They were super easy for me to install, 7 months pregnant, by myself. All three. I read the manual and then I followed along to a YouTube video. Had no issues. I get they’re heavier, but I had a doona stroller car seat and that was heavy! So…I didn’t find it to be to daunting. This will be a great save for now! In a couple years I’ll be more willing to upgrade my vehicle! Just not while I’m in school.I’ll update my review once I’ve taken the kids out and can report how it was!I upgraded a great infant seat to this one and I could not be more pleased.. fits the back of my ram perfect and the build quality is amazing. Lots of mounts and very secure.. I would get another if I needed oneI got this for my husbands F350. The backseat is small so our regular car seat took up much space. This is much better. It’s a bit confusing as it came with no booklet/directions. You can search everything on YouTube tho and they show you exactly what to do. I have this in a Nissan Sentra right now and it’s in the middle seat. There’s room on both sides for my other kids to easily click their seat beltsI wish I had known of this one before, so I had added it to my baby shower list, instead, I got the Gracco, with is great but not for air traveling. This is a perfect for-all-occasions car seat.It is heavier than the typical air-approved car seats but is robust. I feel that my kid is actually safe. We took it on our trip (Air France accepted it), those seats were tiny, and this car seat fits perfectly. The kiddo was comfortable and enjoyed the trip even with turbulence. We also used it on rental cars, and it is very easy to install (I didn't try rear, just forward).I love that the seat actually closes in, so can also fit on the overhead of the airplane if needed. I bought a backpack to carry it but realized it could easily be strapped to a carry-on, so it is really your option how to carry it.The only improvement would be to have padding by the shoulders, but we can easily get that. It does have extra padding on the front, which I haven't seen before but seems to make it more comfortable. With Gracco, kiddo often says it is too tight, and we have to balance between secure and comfortable.I love this car seat but had to give it 4-stars due to it being so heavy. I bought it as we were traveling to Sweden and I knew we were renting a car. So I decided to get this "travel" car seat so we can safely travel with our baby. BUT it's heavy, at 25lbs lugging this thing around the airport requires a dolly/cart. Its nice to know its solid but it would be nice if it was 10lbs lighter. We bought this 2 of these wonderful seats to fit into our older used Acura TSX. Wasn't able to use the latch system on one due to space issues but was able to on second one. This seat seems to be super comfy, fairly easy to install after you download the manual from the company. But folks let me tell you. This car seat is a beast. As a farm girl, I am used to throwing heavy stuff around, hay, bags of feed, etc, and boy am I glad I'm used to it. Maybe it just because it's awkward to maneuver but you're not going to want to move this one from one car to the next very often. That being said I feel very safe strapping my kids into these seats because it will make them nearly invincible were we to have an accident. Not sure if they came with a manual or not but I couldn't seem to find one. I didnt look very hard though since it was pretty easy to just download an e copy off the Diono website. Seems to have a lot of extra straps and pads (I did order 2 at the same time so maybe that was the reason it was slightly overwhelming)My daughter and I absolutely love her new car seat! I love how easy it's to get her in/out of the car and the safety features. I bought the foam ledge so there's more room in the back (she's still rear facing). This car seat allows us to fit 3 across in our Mazda cx5. It's a heavy, well- built carseat, but is nice and narrow across the base.It looks like a great seat, very solid and heavy duty. Unfortunately it doesn’t have any recline adjustment and the back is very long. Because of this, it will only fit rear facing in very large SUVs or minivans. I have a smaller SUV and I had to put the front seat so far forward that it cant be used. It is narrow though so you could get more than one side by side if legroom is plentiful. It should be fine in smaller cars in the front facing position, but you can forget about putting it rear facing. Another gripe I have is that they hide the instruction manual in a pouch under the cover. Of course I found it after I thought it was missing and printed out the PDF version online. The manual tells you where to find the hidden manual - yeah. That’s why there are a bunch of reviews here saying the manual was missing. It looks like a great quality seat, but I had to return it as our child has to sit rear facing. Be sure to do your research and measurements before buying.Installed this rear-facing into my F-150 last night. The instruction manual IS there and it’s located inside the carseat at the back in the upper left side, there is a small symbol showing a book on the seat cover and if you unbutton the cover you can access it easily and pull it out (see my photos).I used the UAS strap to secure it but it definitely was not tight enough, seems to be common in my truck. But once I also attached the tether by following the instructions and looping it around the seat in fronts track, it appears to be tight enough now. I am going to double check it and if needed add the seatbelt as well. This is only the third car seat I’ve ever installed before so I’m not a complete expert. My daughter hasn’t used it yet but I will update my review once we use it for a while. I bought this particular car seat because it looks simple and it doesn’t block her view much and it feels very comfortable just from me pressing on it. And it is supposedly good for extended rear-facing. It is also a nice looking car seat from a reputable brand.Got the chair because it says it is steel core made; even the image where this is mentioned shows a grey (like steel) core but it is not true, all is plastic just like any other chairs. The chair design in fact is not bad at all, the material that covers the core of the chair is good, but this chair is being promoted with misleading information.Ordered this product as it is the ultimate 3-across car seat. We placed it forward facing in the middle seat of our Honda Fit, flanked by 2 infant Chiccos without difficulty. This made the side-to-side fit much better than with our previous car seat. Our daughter was happy that it is comfortable. It's her big girl seat. We're glad that it will last until our 4 year old daughter is done with boosters and then one of our newborns can use it until they are done with boosters as well!Manufacture date was March 2021, product received Dec 2021 so it has most of the 10 years of life available for us to use. It's the Canadian version and so meets requirements for this country.Only difficulty was my mistake, I tried to tighten down the top strap more than it needed to be and wasted a bunch of time, otherwise the install was straight forward. Also don't forget that the manual is BEHIND the car seat in a little nook.Overall we're glad to have it. No complaints so far. Would highly recommend.Positif: Ca me semble un bon siège. Robuste.
