Works perfect and in English! Not the best video quality but very hard to find so it's well worth it.I absolutely love this movie! I wish they had an English version of it on Blu-ray. Jack Black is amazing in this and hilarious. Falkor is always life!!!It wasn't plastic wrapped, but the movies plays and it is the right movie so I'm happy. Not sure if it was a used DVD or not the description wasn't clear on that. Overall very happy with my purchase.Very disappointed. It said "English" but it was not!!! It was spanish, so I threw it in the trash!!!First off, actors have to audition and do certain things to get their roles.Second off, actors do not always want to star in a whole movie trilogy.Third off,be grateful that this movie trilogy even existsbecause it was once just a book and nothing moreand the book of The Never Ending Story can be found on Amazon.com.I liked all three movies. They are all different, all original and all radical. They all tell a story and the third one is honest about bullies. If you wanted different then you should ask two people something. The casting director and the actor as well one question:Why did y'all not have each movie similar?Otherwise try to enjoy the full movie seriesIt begins and ends good and the movie series is amazing. It is a movie after all and the actors are actingand they put on a fantastic show.Movie was not close to first two in video/film quality, or animation/puppet design. Wasn't the same ! Buy it, watch it, you'll see the difference and complete your collection. The never ending story 3 is the newest and final chapter to date. Bastian Balthazar Bux (Jason James richter) starts a new chapter in his life. His dad remarries, he starts a new school has a new sister to get used to and if that's not enough he also becomes victim to the nasties a quintet group of bullies lead by Slip (Jack Black). Gets the gang expelled with the help of the janitor after the trap him in the boiler room he then goes to the library he sees Mr Koreander(Freddie James) and the never ending story. the naties find him but he escapes to fantasia where things are not well. An interesting conclusion to the series if you liked parts 1 and 2 then this is for you enjoy.I can only speak for Neverending Story 3 (Haven't yet seen A wrinkle In Time, but am looking forward to seeing how it measures up to the books).NES 3 had a huge problem with suspension of disbelief. If every wish just makes fantasia stronger, there's no reason he shouldn't continue making them (at least there was a plausible reason not to make wishes in the second movie). It is amazing that his role in this movie (as an inexplicably evil bully with no reasonable motivation for being such an A-hole in a children's movie), did not crush the career of a young Jack Black, but we are all very fortunate that it didn't.Also, while I dig sixties rock & roll as much as the next aging neo-hippie, it should have no business playing in Fantasia. That is allEr, how do I put this...the lovely Bastian has become a rebel, sporting black leather and - yes - a 'cool' sister too! And he gets chased around by a gang of leather-clad punks called The Nasties! And he sees the same guy from the bookstore and manages to get back the Neverending Story, but the Nasties want to use it to destroy Fantasia. Then the movie brings all the characters in Fantasia into the real world, accompanied by a soundtrack that blares out the likes of Roxette and, did I mention Rock Biter singing 'Born To Be Wild'?! Falcor is a lot more fluffy, the graphics are a bit strange, but hey, it's an all-new Neverending Story from the 80's, right? Can't be that bad.The Jim Henson workshop brings out the usual characters in a new style, including some entertaining extra puppets. And it's a surprise to see Tony Robinson playing a tiny little fairy guy tagging along with his very grumpy fairy wife. It's a surprise to see Bastian's sister go shopping with the wish-granting Orin, teaching the Childlike Empress a thing or two. And what happened to Atreyu and the talking tree? All will be revealed in movie 3.I love this story number 3 in this movie selection even if I thought number 1 is the best, but this is a must see if you had seen number 1 and 2 of this story a great film with good picture and great sound.Excellentgoodhello the neverending story is a great story to be told it is good for all the family to watch all together.
