Have an echo leafblower with a bad fuel filter and gummed up carb that I could've spent hours cleaning and another $5 on a filter for. This did the trick.Be sure to save the old carb and use the arm off it for this.The adjustments on the carb need fussed with, but if you're buying this, you already knew that. It's great to have the ability to make adjustments, since the stock carb didnt have any ability to do that.Spent maybe an hour with this kit and had my leafblower running with first-pull starts. Can't beat the value.Everything seemed to be exactly the same, except where the throttle cable connected. I took the bracket off the old carburetor and put it on the new one. Not sure why, but now it appears that the throttle is backwards from how it used to be. The engine still runs so much better than with the old carb.Took a lot of metering needle adjustment but I was able to not scrap my backpack blower!!!Like others have mentioned, the throttle lever is incorrect and will not work with the PB500 blower. You will have to swap the lever with the one on the old carburetor. The good news is that these mixture screws are adjustable with a small screwdriver. My carburetor was not adjusted even close to where it would run the engine out of the box. So before you yank on that starter, set the screws to 1-3/4 turns out for both. Finally, the hi screw is the one closest to the air cleaner and the low (idle mix) is the one closest to the engine.Installed Perfect and ran well have been using it for a few months now seems to be good so far! Some of these can be jetted pretty fat this one seems to be okay for the price you can't beat it!Good deal for the price but like other people have said in other feedbacks the linkage for the carburetor cable is backwards. I had to change my linkage over from my old carburetor for it to work on my echo pb 500 leaf blower.The arm where the throttle cable connects to is backwards take it off and flip it overStarts and runs wellNo other problemsInstalled and throttle linkage was on wrong side. Had to adjust carburetor low idle screw was all the way closed and high idle was way off. Got it running pretty good. Cheap replacement from OEM Zama carburetor.Easy to install, quick little adjustment and it runs like it brand new! Had to switch over the throttle linkage arm off the old carb, but it runs great!
