After the suggested break-in we had our 10U give it a try. The sound of the bat hitting the ball is different, however she was hitting with it a well as any of the other bats she has. She really liked the grip and I noticed it had less vibration when she would hit one off the end of the bat.This was the 2 piece echo. I might try the one piece when she gets a little stronger.Switched from the 2021 LS LXT to the Echo Connect. My daughter's slugging percentage shot up from 0.143 to 1.250 ever since we got this bat. She went from getting no hits to now getting doubles and triples and multiple hits per game with the Echo Connect. This bat is so under rated and over looked for the other big name brands. Marucci is one of the top bats in baseball, why is it so over looked in fast pitch? Glad we went with this bat over the Ghost Advance. And it costs $150 less.I'm writing this review to save parents money trying to buy their under 10 child (female) a bat. The Marucci is the best bat hands down. I recommend the 28/17. I've purchased Easton Advanced, Mantra, DeMarini, and Louisville Slugger, small fortune indeed. The ball comes off this bat the best with radar gun to back it up. Exit speed is 2-4 mph faster than the other bats mentioned. Plus, my child loves the bat. When I gave her a choice which bat she chose the Marucci. The other suggestion I have, if you do not want to spend the additional money, the DeMarini Bustos is the next best thing @ $149.95.So far my daughter has loved this bat. As a service, I can tell you a lot of research goes into a bat purchase so read around to make sure which bat is right for you. Be sure to break it in when you first get it. This thing has a ton of pop and has solved the durability issues with the Meta and Ghost.Great bat.works great right out of the wrapper! Favorite bat!
