This piece is not what I expected. It's okay, was a little difficult to assemble, one of the knob screws is not long enough so the knob won't stay, and the drawers don't pull out very far and always feel like they're going to break. It looks nice though.This is ADORABLE! I love it not only because it is functional, but because doesn't look like most industrial file cabinets ~ it has the appearance of a nice piece of furniture with modern pulls on it. It was a pain to put together because of the time it took, but all the parts were labeled and the instructions were pretty good. I'm going to buy the desk and larger file cabinet now that I've seen how this one looks in the office.This is a very simple piece of office furniture and would not be a good value except that it matches perfect with the white Kathy Ireland desk. There are two drawers that are 2 1/4" deep for supplies and a file drawer. All the drawers have a 3/4 slides, meaning that a good part of the drawer is obscured when fully opened. There are 4 wheels that do not lock so the piece is very mobile, even when you don't want it to skittle around. Assembly of any furniture with drawers can be time consuming, but it was straight forward. Always double check the drawings since it is easy to build it wrong.It is the typical unit that requires extensive assembly, like an Ikea piece. I am not sure if I assembled something wrong but the drawers don't slide/open easily and the box is a bit off center. I had better luck with Ikea items and would offer that as an option. I bought two and both have the same issue so I am inclined to think it is a manufacturing issue.The doors do not align correctly and it difficult to open and close. Don't waste your money.I absolutely love the cabinet was more than easy to assemble the only thing is the price definitely worth the money but I paid more for a file cabinet than I did for my desk... Other than that is perfect draw space is great as wellThis cabinet looks great and has functioned very well in my daughter's study space. It's very sturdy, the drawers hold quite a bit, and the wheels operate smoothly. It was a little harder to assemble than I'd expected, in that it took a couple of hours and the drawers were a little difficult to balance, but manageable.This is a very nice quality file cabinet. It's the right size for my office. I am very happy with it. I hired an assembler and it took him 2 hours to assemble. All drawers have metal sliders to install.
