Bought for my mother following a hip operation - an OT assessed that she needed to be sitting at a height of 21 inches (based on her height/measurements so not universal) - and this has turned out to be a most useful purchase. Comes as a flat pack but easy for a single person to build (two would be ideal but not necessary) and is strong/sturdy/stable, of good quality/size and comfortable: firmer than an average chair but not to the point of being uncomfortable. Has good lumbar support and the armrests are ideal supports for those who struggle to stand up - great chair for the money and one very happy mother!!
