It’s sturdy but light weight and nice looking. When you open the box, you get the stool, wooden seat, 1 page of instructions, and a small bag containing a hex wrench, 4 hex head screws, 4 Phillips head screws(both sets are same size) and 2 slotted metal pieces. However, the instructions don’t show the slotted metal pieces or Phillips screws and how to install the seat. My husband is pretty knowledgeable about fixing stuff and we cannot figure out how to attach this wooden seat. Will continue to look online for instructionsI love this stool. I use it in my kitchen all the time. It’s sturdy, strong and looks great!The wood on the seat split when the srew went in.
