Just unpacked this fly rod and gave it a try out on the beach. Very easy to control line and fly placement. Very good distance in a light wind.I was looking for a new ECHO ply rod, because I have used before the ECHO 2 model that is great. I wrote to the manufacturer and recommended the EPR and it worked awesome. I went fishing for peacock bass and this means throwing large flies and using the rod and casting all day long.
