The Echo Shadow Euro Nymph reel is perfect for use with a mono rig system for Euro Nymphing. A number of reviews criticizing the reel may not realize there is is adjustable frame (the cage that can be re-positioned by rotating it) to be in line with the mono line going out to the guides. By running the line through this cage it is impossible to get line tangles. IN contrast I also have an ORVIS Clearwater reel that routinely gets mono line tangles
