This beautiful collection of shower seats is contoured for body comfort and designed to easily fold up and down. The seat sits flat against the shower wall when not in use. This shower seat is ADA compliant for the elderly and physically handicapped supporting up to 500 lbs. when installed correctly. Instructions are included. Our shower seats are tested and have stood up to intensive use in hospitals, retirement homes and high-traffic hotels. The 2 rear slats are removable for thorough cleaning behind the shower seat. Size: 18 x 16 in. and 26 x 16 in. Finish: Brushed Stainless Steel, Matte Black, Oil Rubbed Bronze and Polished Chrome Our frame finishes are great for residential and institutional designers and contractors because they match many of our home safety and mobility aids for bed, bath and office at Grab Bar Specialists. Wall mount brackets are 12-gauge, type 304 stainless steel and included with your shower seat. NOTE: Shower seats can only be as strong as what they are mounted to. It is imperative when installing any shower seat to consult with a qualified contractor to insure you have sufficient backing. SPECIFICATIONS: Folding shower seat manufactured from 1" (25mm) diameter, 18 gauge and 1.25" x 1.25" (32mm x 32mm), 16-gauge, type 304 stainless steel tubing with #4 satin finish. Wall mount brackets shall be 12-gauge type 304 stainless steel. Slatted Teakwood seat shall comply with all applicable federal, provincial, local building and safety codes.
