The chair is pretty solid so far. It was pretty easy to assemble. Just make sure to follow the instructions that came with it. A quick assembling tip is to put the bottom feet/base, piston, and wheels first. Set aside. Put together the seat and the metal support and also set it aside. Then assemble the arms with the plastic joints and screw them on the back but do not overly tighten them so it’s easier to attach them to the seat. Then attach the back and armrest piece to the seat before putting them on the base. The chair itself seems pretty put together. The seat is made of high resilient foam, no memory foam so expect it to give you firm support but you will probably need a seat cushion if you need to use it long term. It seems to hold someone in who is 230 lbs just fine. My friend who is 275 lbs did feel some flex in the back when he was using the tilt function. The chair also is upholstered in fabric so you won’t have to worry about it flaking off. The mesh back is pretty sturdy and distributes the weight of your back evenly. It also has some back support that is adjustable. The wheels are plasticky and didn’t really roll as well as it should on hardwood floors but did fine on low carpets. Also had some problems with long fiber carpets. The base is metal and felt very sturdy. The piston is pretty standard. Didn’t feel as heavy duty as hose big and tall chairs. But like those that come with regular chairs. The height adjust ment on the chair is also pretty standard. It can go low enough for my friend who is 5’2” and high enough for someone who is 6’. Overall, it’s pretty solid if you are within the intended use. Remember that the chair is advertised as up to 135 kg which about under 300 lbs of STATIC WEIGHT. This is probably going to be durable for someone under 200 lbs, but not so much for anyone heavier or the foam will flatten out.
