I have been using quilted hammocks of past. I have found that in the $70-$120 price range these quilted hammock tend to either flip, or slip out from underneath you when attempting to board. I am an athletic guy - not spastic in any regard , and yet had trouble getting sounding footing. I finally decided to buy this rope hammock for a slightly higher cost - and it is PERFECT. Wide, comfortable, easy to get on and off, totally enveloping, and also i find that it dries faster than quilted hammocks after a rainfall. I originally bought the colorful one - aqua green, but didn't like the way it looked in my yard - a tad too festive . This white one is a bit classier.
