Ordered this and a Condor Summit for a side-by-side comparison of on the face of it very similar designs. This was $20 more expensive and I really wanted to like it more. I was particularly looking forward to seeing the fleece lined and removable hood, neither of which is a feature of the Condor. However, this part of the design needs more work. The fleeced hood is too thick for a roll up stowaway design ... you end up with what feels like an inflatable airline sleep cushion around your neck. Sure you can remove it completely, but that negates the intended benefit having a hood in reserve and a neck compartment to stow it in. Although it's unlined and therefore in the final analysis less warm, the Condor hood stows smoothly.Overall, I'd say this Rothco feels a tad heavier than the Condor and the shade of Olive Drab is greyer. Another miss for me is no storm flap behind the main zipper. And although your mileage will vary, I found the Rothco tighter across the shoulders and upper chest than the Condor. Sleeve and body lengths comparable. Of course everyone will have to find their balance between room for layers beneath and a slim enough profile for body armor on top.
