Description

This reel was redesigned and perfected until Echo could shoehorn a four-layer carbon fiber drag system in the hub of the ECHO BRAVO LITE reels. The design includes O-rings to keep water and dirt from entering the guts of the reel. This allows a person to not only change the retrieve from left to right without tools, but also completely disassemble the drag and service it without spilling a drop of their beer.

So far I've just had chance to use it for to river fishing for trout up to 18". I bought the 6-7 reel and it balances my 9' 5 weight rod and line nicely. I like bigger reel for faster reeling. Helps when a nice fish runs straight at you Especially in a float tube or boat. Drag is smooth at all settings. I like right hand winding and this real is easy to set for right or left. You just need to read and follow the simple instructions. Do it on a fairly clean table or work area . No tools needed.
