My wife and I were very excited about these. We wanted something wall mounted for our stools to make cleaning the floor easy. The customization of these and clean design is what sold us on them. Our builder was even excited by them when he saw the customization. After they were installed, my wife and I tried them at different times. Each of us realized the first time we tried to use them they just aren't functional. We will have to throw them away and buy something else that works.First, getting onto them requires that you straddle over the seat itself. Something I can do with some difficulty, but is much more difficult for someone shorter like my wife or for children. I'm not sure anything short of a full redesign of the mechanism can fix this problem.The flat seat is difficult to stay on. You tend to slide around on it, it needs to be contoured so that you can stay positioned more easily.Once on it and seated, the seat swings freely, which means you are moving constantly unless using your hands or feet to hold the seat from swinging. The seat needs to be redesigned so that there is a stopping point where the seat stays in position without actively being held there by the person sitting on it. My wife bruised herself twice the first time trying to use it because it would swing her into the countertop.Love the idea, which is why we bought three of them. The execution and design just don't function. We'll unfortunately have to scrap these and start over.
