This is a dedicated vehicle computer. It's meant to fit on a headrest for the rear passengers, but you can actually remove most of that mount. It also has no battery as it's meant to be on when your vehicle is on, but not sitting on while you're not in it. But it has an HDMI input, so, you know, tradeoffs.The cool thing about the HDMI is that you can use a chromecast or firestick to stream TV/movies on the road with your hotspot. It's great for your passengers to be able to watch full TV shows or movies. You can also use this to run a video game console, though for that you'll want a power inverter that generates a pure sine wave. The cheaper ones that are not pure sine wave can damage sensitive electronics.In use, the tablet is pretty slow. Downloading apps takes ages; on first setup I had to set the update to run and walk away for a while before it was done. The initial sign-in was slow as molasses, too. Once you're all signed in it's not so bad. The actual OS is very basic and so pretty snappy, it doesn't take terribly long for apps to load, and it'll stream from a hotspot.Overall I'm pleased with this tablet. It's not very fast (it takes ages to download apps), but it will run the few basic programs that I want it to. Keep these pitfalls in mind, but if you do I can recommend it as a very basic car tablet.
