The seat was supplied with fillips head screws with a spot of Loctite on them. Installing screw's with enough force to keep the bit from spinning forced the nuts imbedded in the seat to push out of their recess and spin freely. Had to cut foam foam the holes in the seat bottom so I could get my finger inside to align the nuts with the hex head bolt I exchanged for the screws so I could both pull up and rotate so the nuts would remain stationary.
