Please note that this is an out-of-box review. Will update as needed once installed and used. Out-of-the box these are very impressive. Sturdy and well-constructed, can't find a single flaw or blemish. The materials seem high quality. A few things to note. I had purchased another pair from a different manufacturer, but once I got them I realized that a front-to-back depth of 14" isn't enough to stay firmly seated and returned them. These are 15" front-to-back, which is better (although I wish 16" were available, but I couldn't find any with that). Also, the hinges are sturdy, but like all other seats of this type, they are not meant to lean back with (at least with your full weight). If you want to lean back, get a captain's chair instead. Finally, strongly recommend spraying some type of conditioner on the seats, not because they are poor quality, but because doing so is good practice for all vinyl-type seats. I use Formula 4 (for motorcycles)--best I have used so far and use it on car seats and dash and as well. So far most pleased with this purchase...
