They are very nicely made, have a strong light and seem sturdy. They are very short, having no pole, the spike screws directly into the light. And there is no on/off switch. You do need to remember to pull the tab on the battery to get them to work.I was disappointed in the purple and red flames as there is hardly any purple or red glass. Way too much clear. You can't even see the colors at night. The yellow one is lovely. They would have been worth it at about $45 for the three but not $70.
