I have to admit I was skeptical of paying $150 for some skimpy aluminum tubing and cheap fabric slapped together. Fortunately, this product is anything but cheap. The quality is amazing, the tubing is thick and very sturdy along with the duck canvas straps which are very firm (in a good way) with comfy padding. You can tell legitimate intelligent design went into making this. It is designed for ease of use and functionality yet built for durability. Furthermore, an install kit comes with the product for you to mount this to your canoe seamlessly. I was not aware it actually replaces the middle support of your canoe and makes it stronger but am pleasantly surprised. For help understanding and installing, there are even videos on YouTube. The cherry on top is the American company/manufacturer aspect, I am ecstatic to support this American company and keep our dollars here! Now, I am shocked at how affordable this product is and very pleased with my purchase. Works flawlessly with my 70 lb Grumman Eagle that let’s me carry it by myself. The only knock I would have is marketing, this should be advertised way stronger than how it is now. I think if this was advertised reflective of how well it’s designed and built along with the American aspect, they would always be sold out. 10/10!
