The chair is easy to put together with exception of attaching the back to the seat in which case you must firmly compress the cushion to thread the bolts through tge plate into the bolt holesHowever the sides of the seat were hard and not comfy after an hour or more.I felt carefully and decided to do surgery on the seats. I cut through both sides and unscrewed/ forces out the irion sidebars on the picture which were NOT adequately cushioned but in fact put pressure on my legs over time. You can see where I testicles the seat after removing both side bars.After doing this the seat is comfortable and there are no iron bars pressing through the cushion into my side.I am not trying to harm this company / I am just being Frank on the effect the chair had on me - in fact o challenge the manufacturer to get a large 6 foot man with spririnter/ weight lifter girth legs and have him sit on this chair for a few hours - I will bet them that he too will say the side bars are pressing in on his legs.I am NOT going to return the chair it is completely comfy now with a nice high back that can support my head.If the company feels I am hurtful on this review I am sorry - I really think you did not test this chair out with anyone but a slim 5foot nine Chinese man whose legs probably didn’t touch the sidebarsIt a nice chair and after my modification I am glad I bought it as I type a lot on my computer for work
