I needed a new desk chair and have had this for over 6 months now. The arms are 3 inches wide and about 10 inches long. They swivel upwards so you can move them out of the way, which is nice. The roller legs work well on our tile floor. The back comes to shoulder height when you sit, which I like. The seat itself is a little disappointing. After a little over 6 months it is already worn and compressed in the center. I spend 12-14 hours a day in the chair so comfort is important. I've had to add another cushion on the seat. I don't know that I would buy it again. It does work as intended, with an additional seat cushion it is fine.
